  Have you ever struggled with knowing God's will through your desire? He just found out, and needless to say, he was perplexed. “Why didn’t she share this with me?” “Why am I just now finding out?” “Aren’t we supposed to be partners in life?” “Was she keeping a secret from me?” “I don’t like secrets!” He had questions, lots of questions but I believe the most prominent one was, “Why am I finding this out after reading your Facebook post?!” “Tell me all about it,” He asked me “I want to know all the details.” I wasn’t trying to keep a secret, not at all. My husband is my best friend, my partner, and a highly trusted friend. It had been five days since my husband noticed a sore on his leg, he cleaned it out and did his best to take care of the sore, but it quickly evolved into a severe bacterial infection. Had we not sought medical attention, the infection could’ve caused permanent damage to his joints or even worse traveled through his circulatory system causing life threatening sepsis.   What's on the bottom of your shoe? The other day a friend of mine posted a picture of herself on social media. In the comments she talked about overcoming an obstacle in her life. This post was about a situation, a struggle, determination, trials and then victory. The difference with this post was after she claimed her victory, she pointed out a spot on the bottom of her shoe. “I don’t know what’s on my shoe, we have chickens and cows.” She stated. I must be honest, as I read her post, I was cheering her on, proud of her accomplishment and thought about my desire to achieve the same victory she received through hard work and dedication. All that went away when I read her last comment. I admit it, I magnified the picture to see the spot on her shoe, and at that moment it was the only thing I could focus on.
