“I think I made a mistake.” My husband confessed while scrolling thru his phone. “What do you mean…mistake?” I thought he had deleted something, or wasn’t able to open an app. It’s not like it was the first time he has had trouble with his phone or technology for that matter. “I shouldn’t have put in my resignation at work. We shouldn’t have put the house up for sale. It’s been too long, and we don’t have anyone interested in the house. Maybe we aren’t supposed to move to Tennessee.” Wait…what? Half of the house is packed up, we are under contract for a house in Tennessee, plans are being made and now you have cold feet? The issue is, our move to Tennessee wasn’t our plan, it was God’s plan, and we knew it. We received several confirmations that this was what the Lord wanted us to do, plus when it’s God’s will you just know. It had been five days since my husband noticed a sore on his leg, he cleaned it out and did his best to take care of the sore, but it quickly evolved into a severe bacterial infection. Had we not sought medical attention, the infection could’ve caused permanent damage to his joints or even worse traveled through his circulatory system causing life threatening sepsis. Four days before leaving for a vacation we planned a year in advance, my husband, Joe, was installing a small sprinkler system.
